This is Hasan Mahmud Prottoy, a Human-Computer Interaction researcher.

I research, design, photograph, and observe to make sense of the world around me.

I am a Ph.D. student at Human-Centered Computing (HCC) program at University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). I am part of the Designing Participatory Futures Lab (DARE Lab), and advised by Dr. Foad Hamidi. My primary research focus is in sustainable and critical Human-Computer Interaction. I inquire about infrastructure- technological or otherwise to inform digital technology design for more just and equitable futures.
